Is my voice recorded?
No. Speech recognition happens on-device, using Apple's on-device engine. Your audio never leaves your iPhone and is never stored. Only the text of what you said is sent, with your consent, to generate Axo's reply.
How much Spanish do I need?
None yet, or a lot. Both work. You choose your level, from complete beginner to advanced, and Axo pitches every conversation there: slower and simpler for your first words, faster and more nuanced as you climb. And if you're the classic case, understanding more Spanish than you can say, you'll feel it working on day one.
